I am passionate about helping others live their healthiest life by focusing on the intersection of healthcare and health policy. As a nurse, I have seen first-hand the challenges humans face in today's healthcare system and with living a healthy life. My work in government affairs has afforded me the opportunity to see the multifaceted challenges our nation faces with providing solutions to healthcare, and the role policy and politics play in shaping our nation's health and healthcare. My research focused mainly on ways to evaluate federal program's impact on health outcomes, specifically within obesity and nutrition. As a consultant, I have worked with various federal health agencies to apply my experience and background to client's most pressing healthcare policy challenges. I am excited for a future in the field of health care. Always working for a better and healthier tomorrow.
